About Us
BonVie Medical Aid Scheme, formerly Altfin Medical Aid Scheme, separated from Altfin Holdings in September 2016. Initially registered in November 2009, it began services in April 2010 with a small team that quickly established a reputation for reliability and efficiency. By 2015, the team expanded to 20 staff members focused on wellness and prevention, distinguishing BonVie in the market.
With over 18,000 members, BonVie offers diverse medical aid products, including MedAccess, travel and student plans, and the flagship Classic Plan. The company emphasizes preventive care and maintains a wide network of professional service providers. Located in Mount Pleasant, BonVie ensures client convenience and comfort.
BonVie is registered with the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare and holds license number 08.2017. It is also affiliated with the Association of Healthcare Funders of Zimbabwe (AHFoZ), the Board of Health Funders of Southern Africa (BHF), and the International Federation of Health Plans (IFHP).
